Experiencia fantástica: I have hiked with Jon’s day hikes and with his 4-day hikes. He’s the best mountain guide in the area, which has fantastic routes and great hiking weather. It’s great to hike with Jon and his brother Graham! He works hard at ensuring everyone has a good time. He knows the area and covers bits of the history as we hike through the mountains. Experiencia fantástica: Jon runs an awesome walking and touring company in the mountains and along the coast of the Costa de Sol in Nerja! He and his brother guide with incredible knowledge of the surroundings, and in depth overviews of historical facts in the area. But most importantly his groups are fun and he does an amazing job of attention to detail and checking to see how you’re doing. We did many of the Tuesday walks around Nerja, the Friday Frigiliana walks - both with delicious lunches included - all for only 15 Euros!! As experienced hiker junkies, we also joined some of the more aggressive hikes, usually with smaller groups and made many new friends! Whether you’re coming with a partner, friend or alone, I highly recommend this touring company to all!

Experiencia fantástica: I was in Frigiliana for 2 months from Jan to Feb and turned up for the weekly walks from Frigiliana and Nerja. The one thing that struck me was how the group made me feel very welcome. These walks are great for newbies to gain an understanding of the local areas and a great chance to chat to locals about other walks and restaurants. A shout out to Liam who is a great laugh and a stalwart of the roamer. Whether your just passing through or staying for a while I highly recommend the group and both John and Graham are extremely knowledgeable about the walks and area.

Experiencia fantástica: Had the most wonderful day with Jon Keo Walking Tours last month, to the lost village of El Acebuchal. Jon really informative and shared all the history of the area, really interesting. Walk ended in the village’s only restaurant, as recommended in Repsol guide, food was excellent. I would highly recommend a walk with this group and I look forward to to doing a couple of his walks when I return to Nerja in June.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic hike with John yesterday, three village walk ending in Capileira. We enjoyed the walk and John's good company and hope to walk with him again.

Experiencia fantástica: Went out for a second time with John - this time in the hills above Capistrano. Bit more of a hike than a walk so rather more demanding. Proper walking shoes and a stick certainly helped. It was a lovely day and the views really were spectacular. If you like to get out in the fresh air then do it. John is very helpful, amenable and knowledgeable guide...
