Experiencia fantástica: The most magnificent week on the Tour of Gran Canaria. Raymond is exceptional: everything was organised to the most minor detail, he’s very attentive and I felt incredibly well looked after, the tour ran smoothly and everyone had a great time. Gran Canaria completely exceeded my expectations - the scenery is truly awe inspiring every single day and I have ridden in Mallorca/girona/Calpe before. Everything is organised for you so you genuinely just have to wake up (in nice hotels!), eat and enjoy yourself on the bike. And as soon as you’re thinking “this is getting a bit hard” on the 14th hairpin of the climb, the Gran Canaria van pulls up next to you as if by magic with coke, bananas and custard muffins. Sensational. Also the night in the mountains at Parador hotel was genuinely a dream. Honestly, book the trip, you will not regret it.

Experiencia fantástica: I was with Cycle Grand Canaria in December 2022 for 10 days. This was my first time on GC. I stayed in three hotels on the tour which all had very comfortable rooms, appetising and tasty food to keep the cyclist refuelled and excellent facilities for relaxation and to aid recovery. My Cannondale SuperSix Evo rental bike was in excellent condition and I did not have any mechanical problems or punctures. The terrain is challenging and demanding but extremely enjoyable to ride with amazing views. Lots of ascending and descending on good quality roads with a very few vehicles. Raymond provided excellent support from the first to the last day. On route Raymond made sure there were plenty of stops on route to get refreshments directly from him or from a cafe. Raymond provided advice on the terrain and weather codifications to make sure everyone was able to stay cool on the ascents or stay warm on the mountain descents plus more importantly stay safe. His knowledge of the routes and island was extremely useful and interesting. Getting a detailed explanation of the route ahead from Raymond was invaluable, just like a having a directeur sportif. Raymond has a great sense of humour, he is a friendly and always available to assist at anytime. A darn good guy to spend time on and off the bike. I am planning to return with friends to conquer the VOTT (Valley Of The Tears) with Raymond’s support. I highly recommend using Cycle Grand Canaria. Thanks to Raymond for making my trip extremely enjoyable.

Experiencia fantástica: THE best cycling week ever, as compared to our many rides in the Rockies of western Canada, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. Cycling with Ray made a big difference in terms of being able to focus just on our cycling and let Ray handle everything else. He was very friendly, genuine, a great coach and companion. We have truly enjoyed our week.

Experiencia fantástica: We’ll organized trip. Was great dealing with Ray as he was able to tailor things to fit the group. Everything went smoothly. Combination of all-inclusive and higher end hotels, which were a treat. Never a want for any food and great snacks while riding. The guide, Alberto, did an excellent job managing the group on the rides. Keeping things at the appropriate pace. We had 11 riders on the tour. The roads, scenery and weather were superb. Enjoyed seeing the various climates of the Island. Would love to come back and do it again.

Experiencia fantástica: From the very first enquiry, to the numerous questions, to being out on each ride, I felt looked after. Raymond is very attentive host and succeeds at blending often challenging riding with being on a break. All of the instructions both prior to and on each ride were clear. Raymond played sweeper when the group inevitably became strung out. I chose the 4* hotel choice and no complaints with that at all. The local hire bikes can be in short supply in high season so book early to avoid disappointment. Overall, if you’re looking to do some challenging riding, need your arrangements made and a knowledgeable guide, Cycle Gran Canaria should be your choice.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't recommend Raymond, who runs Cycle Gran Canaria, highly enough. Me and my son took several riding tours with him during our holiday on the island, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our experience. Raymond definitely knows the island as the back of his hand, he was able to offer great cycling routes, customising the level of challenge to our abilities. His behaviour as a tour guide on the road is very professional and considerate without being patronising. If you're after a great cycling experience in Gran Canaria I would look no further.

Experiencia fantástica: I just returned from a week of cycling in the Tour of Gran Canaria and only have positive things to say about my experience. I am a very experienced cyclist from Boulder, Colorado and have participated in a number of organized tours in Europe and Asia, and the owner, Mr.Leddy, provided an experience at least equal to any of my previous tour experiences. Being an excellent rider himself, he could quickly assess the skill level of the participants and provide the appropriate feedback, encouragement, and adjustment as necessary. Knowing virtually every road on the island he made adjustments to the route when weather threatened. He also spent considerable time getting to know the participants to help everyone feel comfortable. And the endless beautifully paved roads on Gran Canaria are fabulous. I highly recommend this tour to any cycling enthusiast--it's well worth any effort it takes to get to Gran Canaria.

Experiencia fantástica: Our overall experience was great. Prior to booking, we were in close communication with Cycle Gran Canaria ( CGC) and the prompt and helpful answers convinced us to travel with them. Throughout the stay, all the practical and logistical details were well-taken care of. This allowed us to focus on cycling, enjoying the climbs, landscape, and excellent weather. In the evenings, we had time for recovery: good food in nice hotels and great locations. We are 100% sure we will book with them again next year.

Experiencia fantástica: I would highly recommend Raymond and his company. He ensured we all rode safely giving us a briefing before we set off . We we’re provided with nourishing snacks plenty of water and tea and coffee breaks. Lunch was alway delicious as was the breakfast and dinner. We could exchange clothing when required as it was fully supported including three cycle leaders . The accommodation was excellent and if you wanted to take a day off nothing was too much trouble. To conclude, Raymond and his merry men and the group were great fun and I’ll definitely be returning x

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic riding, weather, food and guided tour! Downhill biking doesn’t really get much better than this, it was an unforgettable adventure and I can say with certainty that it pushed me to my limits. The logistics and planning were supremely handled which meant we got to pack the most out our time here. The weather in Gran Canaria was also perfect and we got to see many different parts of the island. I would totally recommend using Cycle Gran Canaria.

Ray es un gran guía, muy confiable y muy flexible a la hora de definir los recorridos en función del estado físico del grupo. Me uní al campo de entrenamiento en ruta durante tres años y espero volver en 2019.
