These rules do not cover stand-alone travel services (such as a flight or accommodation which are booked separately), certain types of business travel, packages sold on the basis of a framework agreement on an occasional, not-for-profit basis to a limited group of travellers, as well as packages lasting less than 24 hours unless they include accommodation.
Package travel – different types of packages give you the same rights When you book a package holiday, you buy a combination of two or more different types of travel services for the same trip or holiday. These services can include transport, accommodation, car hire, or under specific conditions any other tourist service. Your package may be pre-arranged – consisting of a number of services combined by a tour operator or travel agent – or you may have a more customised package by choosing the services yourself before the contract is concluded. In both cases, EU rules apply as long as your travel package was purchased in a certain way.
1. You book travel services put together by or with the help of a trader, such as a tour operator or an online or offline travel agency under a single contract
you buy services at a single point of sale (such as a travel agency, a call centre or a website) and you select the services before agreeing to pay, i.e. before you conclude the first contract. This is the case, for example, where different travel services are put into a shopping basket or are otherwise selected before a contract is concluded. the services are sold to you at an inclusive or total price the services were advertised/sold as a “package” or similar travel services are combined after the conclusion of a contract under which you are entitled to choose from a selection of different travel services, for example a travel package gift box Click-through package: you buy services from separate travel companies through a linked online booking process where the first company transmits your name, email address and payment details to the second company and the second contract is concluded within 24 hours of the first contract A combination of a travel service, such as accommodation, and another tourist service, such as a guided tour, admission to a concert or sports event, or rental of sports equipment, can only be classed as a package if the other tourist service accounts for 25% or more of the overall value of the trip, or if that service is an essential feature of the trip.
Sample story Booking a package travel holiday Michel from Belgium decided to organise his summer holiday through an online travel agency. The package he selected, a 2-week holiday in Italy, included flights, hotel accommodation and a number of day trips. As the total price for this all-inclusive package was very attractive, Michel decided to book his holiday. He finalised the booking, signed the contract and paid for his holiday via the online travel agency.

Experiencia negativa: Unsere Erfahrung mit Leib Tours war sehr gemischt. Die Lage des gebuchten Apartments war hervorragend und die Aussicht auf das Meer war schön. Leider gab es jedoch mehrere Punkte, die den Gesamteindruck stark beeinträchtigt haben. Bei unserer Ankunft wurde von uns an der Rezeption eine erneute Zahlung von 600 Euro verlangt, obwohl wir das Apartment bereits über Rbnb für 1350 Euro bezahlt hatten. Nach Klärung mussten wir zwar nicht erneut zahlen, jedoch wurde uns bewusst, dass wir offenbar abgezockt wurden. Eine Rückfrage bei Leib Tours ergab lediglich die Antwort, dass sich die Preise ändern könnten. An der Rezeption wurde uns jedoch gesagt, dass die Rechnung für den Buchungstag nicht gezahlt wurde, was darauf hindeutet, dass 750 Euro lediglich für die Vermittlung an Leib Tours gingen.

Experiencia negativa: Este tipo de negocios arruinan a la isla, el subarrendamiento de viviendas dejan a los trabajadores sin alojamiento y elevan los precios. Es el siguiente modelo de air bnb pero sin pagar impuestos. El problema de la vivienda en ibiza se incrementa mientras que unos pocos se lucran de las necesidades de los demás, seguir aceptando esta situación llevará a ibiza a la quiebra total!

Experiencia fantástica: Ik verbleef onlangs bij een verblijf van LEIBTOUR in Santa Eulalia en mijn ervaring was ronduit fantastisch. Het verblijf bood alle comfort die ik nodig had, en de eigenaren waren buitengewoon gastvrij. Ze stonden open voor feedback en deden er alles aan om mijn verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Ze zijn echt dierbare bekenden geworden, en ik kijk ernaar uit om nog eens een kopje koffie met ze te drinken. De huisgenoten waren respectvol en hielden rekening met elkaar. De gedeelde ruimtes, zoals de badkamer en keuken, waren onberispelijk schoon. Mijn kamer bood een prachtig uitzicht op de tuin en was ruim en gezellig ingericht. Als ik niet al mijn eigen appartement op het eiland had gevonden, zou ik zeker langer zijn gebleven. De locatie onder het kerkje was ideaal, dichtbij het dorpje en de zee. Al met al was het een heerlijk verblijf voor een zeer redelijke prijs.

Experiencia fantástica: Comme on dit en France… OH LA LA LA !!!! L’agence LEIBTOUR est une agence très professionnelle et attentifs vers leur clients. J’y suis resté choqué car dans l’île, le 70% des gens qui louent des chambres ou autre, sont vraiment des arnaquer. Ils vous suivent de A à Z, du jamais vu a Ibiza! Madame Maria et Monsieur Alessandro sont toujours à votre écoute, même si vous le contactez pendant leurs heures hors travail. L’appartement est très bien fait, les chambres sont bien spacieuses, vous avez tous les conforts (télé, Armoire, bureau pour travailler, fenêtre ou balcon…même le miroir!) ah oui, j’avais oublié: vu qu’il fait très chaud, Maria et Alessandro vous donnent aussi un ventilateur! (Croyez moi il fait chaud ) Vous avez une salle de bain complète à votre disposition avec baignoire ainsi que une cuisine totalement équipée et une machine à laver. L’appartement dispose aussi d’un jardin énorme où vous pouvez vous détendre. Malheureusement j’ai dû quitter leur appartement pour des soucis des santé, mais de que je rentre à Ibiza, les premières personnes que je contacterais seront eux! N’hésitez pas leur contacter! Te marean con preguntas y pidiendo cosas, para al final quedarse con TU dinero en la buchaca, pase lo que pase. Solo pretenden ganar tiempo para que te aburras

Tuve que cancelar la reserva por un motivo de fuerza mayor, que me provocó una situación límite y no recibí ni un euro de reembolso. Esta empresa no tiene piedad ni la conoce. Perdí casi 1000€. No la recomiendo para nada en absoluto créanme, búsquense un hotel.

Experiencia fantástica: Excelente lugar para alojarse. Retirado un poco de Ibiza, sin tanta gente pero con muchas conexiones para llegar al centro. Esta a 3 cuadras de la terminal de autobuses que te llevan a las calas, playas, aeropuerto y al puerto todo el tiempo. Hacen limpieza todos los días y cambian las toallas y sábanas. tiene una vista desde el balcón muy linda. Aire acondicionado central que podes regularlo a tu gusto.

Experiencia positiva: Muy amables y profesionales en el trato. Sin embargo,es preferible contratar con el hotel directamente.Se llevan mucho porcentaje de beneficio y va en detrimento del cliente.

Experiencia fantástica: The employer of "Leib Tour" gave us the feeling, that we are more than just a visitor. The slogan: "You come as a visitor and leave as a friend" isn't just a phrase. They really cared about us and we always had the opportunity to ask our questions. We made some good friend's there :)

Experiencia fantástica: We spent an unforgettable week in one of Leibtour holiday apartment in Ibiza, San Antonio. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every second, thanks to the kindness and availability of Leibtour staff. The apartment was great exactly as described. Clean, tidy and super organized. We also rented a car with them at a very low fare and got three formentera boat tickets. Compared to the market prices it was a big deal! Thanks Leibtour. We will contact you again soon.
