Experiencia fantástica: Nous avons eu le plaisir de nous faire accompagner par l'équipe d'Ambia Tour pour notre courte escale à Valence, et nous avons été enchantés! L'équipe est très professionnelle et attentionnée. Nous avons fait la visite de la ville à vélo, durant laquelle nous avons appris énormément de choses. Nous avons également participé à une dégustation de vins locaux dans la soirée que nous recommandons fortement aux néophytes comme aux confirmés. Nous allons essayer de revenir à Valence plus longtemps, ce qui nous permettra de participer à d'autres visites thématiques d'Ambia Tour. We spent 5 days with Valeria in and about Valencia and Barcelona, visiting hidden restaurants that locals patronize, tasting amazing wines (she is now an official sommelier after passing the big exam), and helping our jet lagged brains process all the wonderment we witnessed on our first trip to Spain. Her bicycle guide to Valencia is great not just for bikers, but avid hikers, too. I loved the book’s special photos and insightful anecdotes, especially now that we’re home and reminiscing. Buy the book. Book her for your Spain adventure and you’ll come away with truly amazing memories.

Experiencia fantástica: The food and wine was excellent on this tour. We had a great time tasting and experiencing the different foods and wines from the Valencia region. The wine was carefully chosen for us and it was fully explained how we should experience it. The food was excellent that they selected to go with the wines as well. They were willing to answer all of our questions and even dispelled a few silly myths about wine for us which was great. The location that they chose for the tasting was quite nice and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating for us. We arrived early but as soon as we said that we were here to taste some wines and that we arrived early, they called Valeria and Paulius by name and said that we could sit and wait for them. It was clear that they are known in the town. All in all, this may have been one of the best wine tastings and that I have been too. We also did the bike tour with them which was really great. They knew their history and were able to point out so many things to us that we would have probably missed. We also have plans to do the paella and vineyard tours the next time that we are in town. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend!

You learn a lot about the wine you're tasting and they take you to a delicious restaurant for lunch (they accommodated dietary restrictions as well). Would recommend as an easy trip outside the city with a convenient central meeting point and door to door service/planning all arranged for you.

Aprovecha el trayecto para explicar detalles interesantes del lugar de destino y ya en el mismo muestra sus conocimientos de sumiller pero sin necesidad de ser pretenciosa. Las visitas a las bodegas bien seleccionadas ya que aportan distintas maneras de llegar a un lugar común, el vino. La comida en un lugar frecuentado por habitantes de la zona con lo que la elección del mismo demuestra interés por tu trabajo ya que no se limita a darte el trato de un mero turista o excursionista. En resumen, Valeria destila gusto por su trabajo llegándolo a convertir no sólo en su pasión, demostrada, sino que llega a poder contagiarlo. Felicidades.

Experiencia fantástica: We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our guide Valeria was very knowledgeable about the history and production of wine in Requena. The two wineries were quite different so they provided a good overview of the wines of the region. The wine tasting was fun and engaging for everyone in our group. The lunch at a local restaurant was excellent and there were lots of choices even for people with special food preferences. I would highly recommend this tour!

Experiencia fantástica: Engels en Nederlands The wine and tapas tour, which was a great addition to our 2 days and 1 night Valencia. We had impulsively decided to include 1 night in Valencia during our holiday in Spain and we had no time and no desire to map the city in advance and mess around ourselves. So we got to know Valeria in the afternoon. She took us in the middle of the city and the old center of Valencia. She told a lot about historical buildings and cultural backgrounds. Finally we settled on a lovely terrace where the tastiest bottles of wine and home made tapas were served. Valeria was completely in her element there, because she was a sommelier who was able to describe quality wines from A to Z. Don't let the price deter you because food or drink is no longer necessary after the wine and tapas route, so for us 2x 70, - is 140, - seems like a lot of money, but relatively cheap. With a guide through the city with food and drinks all inclusive. Valeria thank you so much for the wine and tapas tour we can recommend it to everyone who loves good food and delicious wine. We hadden impulsief besloten om tijdens onze vakantie in Spanje 1 nachtje Valencia in te lassen en we hadden geen tijd en geen zin om zelf de stad voor de tijd in kaart te brengen en zelf aan te gaan klooien. Dus maakte we in de namiddag kennis met Valeria. Ze nam ons mee in het midden van de stad en het oude centrum van Valencia. Ze vertelde heel veel over historische gebouwen en culturele achtergronden. Uiteindelijk streken we neer op een heerlijk terras waar de lekkerste flessen wijn en de home made tapas op tafel kwamen. Daar kwam valeria helemaal in haar element omdat zij afgestudeerd sommelier dus de kwaliteits wijnen van a tot z kon beschrijven. Laat u niet weerhouden vanwege de prijs want eten of drinken is na de wijn en tapas route niet meer nodig dus voor ons 2x 70,- is 140,- lijkt een hoop geld maar in verhouding dus heel goedkoop. Met een gids door de stad met eten en drinken all inclusief. Valeria ontzettend bedankt voor de wijn en tapas tour we kunnen het iedereen die van lekker eten en heerlijke wijn houdt aanbevelen. Experiencia fantástica: We had a fantastic day visiting the Requena caves and trying some fantastic wines and then went to yet another beautiful vineyard that was the opposite of commercial. We got to meet Felix, the owner of the vineyard in his beautiful Art Deco mansion where the complexity of his lovingly crafted wines was explained to us. We then had a lovely 3 course meal. Valeria, the tour guide and wine expert looked after us like Kings...speaking perfect English and Spanish she made the day come alive with many interesting stories and lots of jokes. An absolutely fantastic day that I can highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Although we live in the UK we were due to join the U3A Javea group for a 6 day tour. Covid meant this was cancelled. We have received a full refund from Ambia tours despite the fact they are still waiting for refunds from the various hotels that were booked. This impressive service in difficult circumstances means we would recommend Ambia tours. We will certainly contact them in the future when we are able to travel ,as we have great confidence in their professionalism.

Experiencia fantástica: I arrange trips for the Javea, Spain U3A travel group (mostly ex-pat pensioners) - we have used Ambia many times for both day trips and longer tours and always found their attention to detail to be excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. However I must comment on a 6 day trip we had planned to Andalucia last March - sadly it had to be called off due to Covid-19, this was after all of the hotels, restaurants and attractions had been paid. Despite the fact we did not have specific travel insurance they refunded us in full, and I know they have still not received all of the money back themselves. This really is service above and beyond what could be expected, so I must say on behalf of our organisation a massive THANK YOU and I look forward to a long term relationship with lots of trips in the future. You are the VERY BEST!!

Sie spricht mehrere Sprachen und hat uns während unserer Tagestour viel Interessantes erzählt. Wir haben 2 Weingüter besucht und waren danach noch in einem Restaurant für „la comida“ - das Mittagessen, wo es uns auch sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Valeria, our guide, proved to be friendly, charming and extremely knowledgeable during our tour of Valencia. She gave us interesting 'insider' titbits of information about the products we consumed, as well as about the city and its history. And of course, products were of the highest quality - you must try the horchata, a unique refreshing drink made from tiger nuts that we tasted next to the Cathedral, right in the historical centre of Valencia. And I especially liked that the products she had chosen for us were local, sustainable and in the case of the horchata with an added social value, employing women of a 'certain age' (I am one;)). Will definitely recommend the tour to friends who visit Valencia.

Experiencia fantástica: A great, 100% fun day trip to the wineries of Valencia! Our first exposure to the wines and wineries of Valencia was with Ambia Tours in 2017, when we visited the award winning Utiel-Requena wine region about 1 hr west of the city. This year we decided to visit another famous wine region a little further from the city, Terres dels Alforins, known as “Little Tuscany of Valencia”, so we naturally reconnected with Ambia to see if they could take us there. Both day trips were wonderful. Both times our host was a certified sommelier and tour guide who spoke English. This time we were fortunate that Valeria Valdebenito, the agency owner, was available to spend a Saturday with us. Ambia’s approach is consistent: visit 2 successful bodegas that produce excellent quality wines, are committed to wine tourism and have an interesting point of view. ARREAZ was the first. The current owner Toni is proud of his family’s legacy and shares his family history through humorous wine labels from local designers (eg, ancestors riding dinosaurs) as well as an educational underground museum. His commitment to having fun has caught on with new wine drinkers in Valencia and worldwide. CELLER DEL ROURE looks back 1,000s of years to the traditions of the early Iberians and beyond, and the indigenous grape varieties that still thrive in the area. They even produce some wine using these ancient methods. These 2 visits were topped off by lunch at a pretty country-inn style restaurant right in the middle of wine country. Our meal last week was wonderful! Some people from the local wineries and their families were also enjoying meals there as well. Ambia offers all sorts of tours including bike tours, city tours, and tours throughout Spain and Portugal. But if you want to take a break from the city, and really get to know the countryside and the wines of Valencia, I can’t think of a better way to do it.

Experiencia fantástica: We did the winebus tour. It was phenomenal. Paul, our guide, was extremely friendly and helpful. He was clearly both passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. We visited two wineries and had a great experience at both. For lunch we went to a restaurant in a small town and had an incredibly delicious meal.

Experiencia fantástica: Had the wine tasting at taberna de marisa and loved it. Valeria obviously knew her stuff and explained the various types of wine and their origins. She also taught us what to look for in a good wine and what to avoid. We tried 4 different bottles and were allowed to keep them all at the end to enjoy with the tapas that is included in the experience. Highly recommended to all wine lovers. Planning on coming back to do another tour.
